White Party Week Miami Announces Women’s Events to benefit HIV/AIDS
The Community Celebration Welcomes Women from Around the World

Miami, Fla. – Oct. 11, 2007 – White Party Week Miami today announced The Women’s White Party and its four-day line-up of events exclusively for women. The 23rd annual event is known as the world’s largest and oldest HIV/AIDS fundraiser benefiting Care Resource, a not-for-profit, community-based organization in Florida.

“We are excited to be a part of this year’s event,” said Alison Burgos, co-producer of The Women’s White Party. “AIDS is not typically thought of as a disease that affects gay women but many of us know or love someone affected by HIV or AIDS. We have a wonderful community of women who are committed to raising awareness of the disease and supporting this great cause.”

The Women’s White Party events begin Wednesday, Nov. 21 with a launch party at Touch Restaurant, one of Miami’s trendiest spots. The festivities end Sunday, Nov. 25 with a lunch and Sunset Tea Dance at Creek 28 in Miami Beach. The schedule of events also includes a comedy night with Poppy Champlin.

This year’s women’s signature White Party, Cirque Blanc 8 features an “Arabian Nights” theme at the ultra sexy Nikki Beach Club in the heart of South Beach. More than 1200 women from around the world will be treated to a mystical trip to the Middle East. They will be lured into an exotic, sensual setting and captivated by stage shows featuring belly dancers. VIP guests will enjoy an outdoor room with lush tropical gardens. The evening also includes a silent auction, featuring travel packages, jewelry, dinners, theater tickets, spa days, autographed memorabilia and much more.
