L Word She Rock All Star Concert
brings sizzle to the stage at Disney's Gay Day
Girls in Wonderland events feature top-notch women's entertainment

Miami, Fla.–Have you ever wondered what it would be like to catch a live show at The Planet, the hip music venue featured in The L Word? During Gay Day in Orlando, top lesbian event producers Alison Burgos, Yesi Leon, and Amy Alonso will capture that Sapphic music magic with their L Word She Rock All Star Concert.
Cutting-edge performances from rising lesbian stars are the hallmark of the June 1 event at Disney's legendary House of Blues club, which is presented by Music With a Twist (Sony's gay label) and GLEE.com as part of the promoters' Girls in Wonderland festivities. Taking the stage are two acts whose music got the feature treatment in the Sapphic Showtime series: New York hip-hop dynamos God-des & She and British soul singer Kirsten Price.

Emcee God-des and soulful singer She have made headlines for ditching the bling and booty that plagues hip-hop in favor of their own chemistry-laden style. Logo (MTV's gay channel) showcased the duo in the documentary Hip Hop Homos, and they performed their raucous tune "Lick It" in the Season 4 finale of The L Word.

Sexy songstress Price has her debut album in the works on the recently launched Twist label. Her infectious single "Magic Tree" is featured on L Tunes, a CD of music from and inspired by The L Word, and it also popped up on the soundtrack of a CSI episode.
"We're always looking for more ways to showcase the incredible talent of up-and-coming female musicians," said Burgos, who with her producing partners is also behind the successful Women Who Rock shows at Wilton Manors lesbian hangout, New Moon.
The concert will be hosted by two veterans of must-see lesbian TV viewing -- reality stars Rachel and Veronica, who have appeared in multiple installments of MTV's long-running Real World/Road Rules series.

God-des and She, Price, and the MTV gals join a sizzling array of female talent during the Girls in Wonderland weekend (May 30 to June 3). Headlining mistresses of the dance floor include DJs Pride (Aqua Girl, White Party, New York's Shescape), Kim Dazy (NYC's Henrietta Hudson's, Winter Party), and Kimberly S. (Dinah Shore Weekend). The weekend will close with a concert from power-folk lesbian duo Halcyon.
